I grew up in the high desert in the Southwestern United States – aesthetically inspired by endless horizons opening me towards cultivating an expansive view.

My identity as a multiethnic and multicultural woman has greatly influenced how I see and interact with the world: instilling an understanding of and deep respect for human diversity, resiliency, and adaptability. I approach therapeutic work through a lens for holding multiple perspectives and understanding the whole person, including the personal, interpersonal, systemic, cultural, and transpersonal layers of experience. As an animist, I am interested in relationships: the relationships we hold with ourselves, each other and our communities, our natural world, our ancestors, and the cosmos. My work with Aesthesis Healing Arts is dedicated to this re-weaving through supporting others to come into the memory and embodiment of their unique soul’s calling.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Art and Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University and worked for a number of years as an educator for youth in the Expressive/Creative Arts and Early Intervention. I also hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Somatic Body Psychotherapy and Somatic Dance Movement Therapy from Naropa University. I have provided counseling to individuals and groups at Noeticus Counseling Center and Training Institute in Denver, Colorado where I received training in trauma-informed counseling, as well as in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other therapeutic models. I have also provided counseling services in community mental health settings in addictions recovery work and as a Somatic Psychotherapist, holistic wellness coach, yoga/meditation/dance teacher, and facilitator of numerous psychoeducational wellness classes. Additionally, I have received professional training in intuitive development through High Heart Healing in Boulder, Colorado and mentorship with renowned psychic Charley Castex. I hold a life-long relationship to embodiment practices including nearly two decades with Yoga and Odissi Indian Classical Dance since 2013. These practices have been the rivers in which I have been able to draw upon, nourish myself with, and be able to offer my work to others from an embodied perspective.

My journey is an ongoing and ever-unfolding reclamation of my inherited ancestral lineages in diverse healing traditions, such as my great-grandmother who was a well-respected psychic/medium in her community in Mexico. I am infinitely grateful for these relationships and for all of my teachers who have guided me and led me further into my soul’s offerings.
