how I work

Aesthesis Healing Arts provides trauma-informed, client centered psychotherapy and intuitive/spiritual coaching that is informed through Somatic and Transpersonal orientations to holistic healing.

This includes an integrated understanding of well-being through body, mind, and spirit from both individual and collective perspectives as well as shadow work, cultural trauma, and developmental trauma/attachment issues that can often be the unconscious elements that can impact one’s innate being and potential. This involves illuminating/uncovering and engaging with these aspects of body, mind, and spirit through the radiance of bringing them into the light of awareness, where their energy can be an offering of transformation and be used to cultivate the creative unfolding of one’s life.

I use a multifaceted approach to meet clients’ unique needs, identities, and life experiences; which includes an attuned therapeutic relationship that can be the foundation for healing. An intuitive/spiritual coaching session can provide energetic, archetypal, and/or “big picture” perspectives, helping to clarify one’s current life situation that can include short term or long-term goals and glean particular spiritual insights. This can often be the entry-way into more formalized psychotherapy work, where I draw upon my background and training with trauma-informed Somatic Psychotherapy, Archetypal/Depth Psychology, Expressive Arts Therapy, as well as traditional talk therapy that can include psychoeducation and skill-building. I have extensive training and experience working with psychotherapeutic models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) in my therapy and coaching work with others. I believe that this combination of analytical/clinical, somatic, and spiritual approaches and techniques can help clients to be able to engage holistically in the therapeutic process through mind, body, and soul.
